Follow My Blog Friday

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View.

My answer to this week's Follow Friday question:

Q. Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?

Wow this is a hard question this week.  I like all genres so instead of going with a favorite genre per say, I'm going to pick my favorite book and then they will be my favorite genre for the day.  My favorite Young Adult book would have to Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta so therefore I guess my favorite genre would be contemporary fiction.

  4. I loved Jellicoe Road. It's probably my favorite contemporary read this year (I was just slow to get to it!)
    Happy Friday! :)

  5. Hi, Lisa! I just wanted to stop by your blog and say hi. :) I totally agree that YA is the most dominant and fun to read category as of right now, and I like reading contemporary books because they're adorable! Urban fantasy is still my favourite, though ;)

I've never read Jellicoe Road before, but I think I might check it out! :)

    Have an awesome weekend!

  7. I love a lot of different genres too, and couldn't really pinpoint any one book that turned me on to any of them. Have a great weekend.

  8. Jellicoe Road has been popping up for me lately and I've added it to my TBR. I usually always have a contemp on hand to break up everything else I'm reading - although not just for that purpose!
