My answer to this week's Follow Friday question:
Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?
I don't know if I have any YA books that I thought were horrible; there have been plenty I didn't like but none that I flat out hated (that I can remember).
As for adult books it would have to be Season of the Machete by James Patterson. This was one of his earlier books (and one that he wrote completely by himself...that doesn't happen much anymore) and I just couldn't get into it.

A james patteson book makes the list. I thought everyone read JP and liked his books, they make them sound so intriguing.

I don't read James Patterson. Never have. How do you know if he wrote it on his own or not? I'm quite curious.

ReplyDeleteI mostly meant that he didn't have a published co-author on this novel. I was at an author event and the author had met James Patterson and asked about his writing style. I guess that he writes a very detailed outline (like 30 pages) and then has his co-writer help write the story off of that.
