Follow My Blog Friday

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View.
My answer to this week's Follow Friday question:

Q. What is the book that you really don't want to admit to loving??

I don't know if there is a book that I don't like to admit to loving.  If I like something I let people know even if they don't like it back.  We all have different tastes in literature, but that doesn't mean I judge anyone because of what they read and I hope people don't judge me either.

What about you?

  2. I'm glad you don't judge people on what they read. I feel like many many people do.

  4. I've seen some surprising answers but I think my response to this week's Follow Friday question will shock most.

I have to say that I loved the Harry Potter series but have a really hard time admitting it. It's teenage stuff. Perfect for the YA audience, sure.

But a grown man who just last week blogged about wishing he could step inside the Rogue Warrior book series with Navy SEALs shooting, looting, drinking and wenching has got a real hard time admitting to loving teenie-bopper Harry Potter.

I go into much more detail on my blog and welcome all comments - http://www.howardsherman.net

All I ask is that everyone try and keep their comments civil. It's cool to disagree but flame wars are NOT cool.

    Thank God it's Follow Friday!

  6. hi there! I'm following your blog now since you were lovely enough to stop by mine. I like your answer to this week's question! Although I might be a little embarrassed about some of the steamier romances I've read, I'll eventually say what I think about them. heehee.

  7. Well, I didn't have much of an answer. If I love them, I usually talk about them. Same goes for the opposite lol.

  8. I completely agree with your answer. None of my friends really read so they wouldn't know what I was talking about anyway!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm a new follower. Have a great weekend!

  9. I'm not usually embarrassed by my reading choices but I have to admit my Laurell K Hamilton's(the Merry series) have been hidden deep in the bookshelves for when the petsitters come by. LOL

  10. I couldn't have put it better myself: the magic of books is that different stories and authors work for different readers. It wouldn't be the same if there was no variation - and we wouldn't find those reads which hold special meaning for us, but leave others cold.

New follower. (And I love the smell of books too!)
